Linda Harris Director of Lifelong Learning

Linda Harris has been in the field of education for more than 45 years, and specifically in early childhood education since 1981. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Primary and Elementary Education and a Master’s of Science in Early Childhood Administration. She also has a Florida Advanced Directors’ credential.

Linda was the Director of Ramat Shalom, a preschool in south Florida, for 9 years, and has also taught preschool through eighth grade. Linda has served on the Jewish Education Commission, Jewish Education Task Force for South Palm Beach County, was president of the Jewish Council of Early Childhood Directors, past president of ORT and past vice president of the Jewish Council of Early Childhood Educators. Linda is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the National Association of Temple Educators. She has also been selected for “Who’s Who?” among early childhood administrators.

In 1993, Linda became the Director of Nadel Center for Early Childhood Education at Congregation B’nai Israel. Under her leadership, NCECE continues to grow and thrive.

Linda has two married children, Samantha and Scott, and six grandchildren.
