Event Details:
Join us for our first book club meeting of the New Year! We’ll be discussing Elizabeth Graver’s novel Kantika, which follows the journey of Rebecca Cohen, a member of the Sephardic elite in early 20th-century Istanbul. As Rebecca navigates personal and financial upheavals, she builds a new life across Spain, Cuba, and New York. The novel is a poignant exploration of resilience, beauty, and the challenges faced by women.
We’ll also discuss book selections for the upcoming months.
