Join us virtually for a service as we remember the lives of the more than six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust.
We will be joined by Lonny Wilk, Florida Interim Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League.
Lonny Wilk was raised in South Florida, and has spent six years living and studying in Israel. He currently serves as the Interim Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League’s Florida Region. In his regular role as Senior Associate Director, he is chiefly responsible for communications, media, marketing, and social media, civil rights, and is the lead staff for Israel advocacy initiatives and campus relations. He also is among the staff who respond to and assist victims of discrimination and hate crimes. Lonny has been with ADL Florida since 2009.
Previously, he has worked with the Consulate General of Israel in Miami and the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. He interned in the Communications Department of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and after making Aliyah, worked as the Foundation Relations Coordinator of Yad Vashem’s International School for Holocaust Studies. Lonny studied Holocaust history and historiography, was a member of the first Florida college March of the Living in 1997, and had the honor to work repeatedly with Miami’s March of the Living chapter.
