Event Details:
On Friday, April 15th at 10 AM we will be hosting a Passover Siyyum Service (completion of a specific Passover Talmudic tractate) in the Hollander Family Chapel. This service is known as the Fast of the Firstborn. To commemorate being spared in Egypt, it is customary for first-born children to fast on this day. However, those who attend this service are freed of that obligation, and instead can enjoy food in celebration of achieving a milestone in Jewish learning.
