Chavurah Groups
A Chavurah is a circle of friends with similar interests who gather to learn about and observe our Jewish traditions. They are a great way for members to feel more connected and help make a large congregation feel more like a family.

Empty Nesters:
A social group for couples with young adult children who have recently (or not too recently) moved on to a new stage in life. We gather for social, religious, philanthropic, and educational reasons. Open, inviting and warm group hoping to make meaningful connections with others.

Rosenthal Family Speaker Series
Our Rosenthal Family Speaker Series brings world-famous thinkers and celebrities to Boca Raton to discuss a wide-range of topics as well as their connection with the Jewish community. Our speakers share personal stories and keen commentary to tackle issues relevant to Jewish culture, religion, tradition, and history. Past speakers have included Maya Angelou, Deepak Chopra, Alan Dershowitz, Chuck Todd of NBC’s Meet the Press, Ashleigh Walters & Aly Raisman, two-time Gold medalist and one of the world’s best-known Jewish Athletes, and most recently Mitch Albom, NY Times #1 Best Selling Author.
Adult B’nai Mitzvah Program
Strengthen your Jewish identity and enhance your connection to our Jewish community by becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Our Adult B’nai Mitzvah program provides a chance for adults who have never had a Bar/Bat Mitzvah to participate in group study that will culminate in being called to the Torah and leading Shabbat Services.

Our Brotherhood is a spirited group of men that seeks to participate in meaningful activities within the synagogue and our community. From happy hours to sporting events to business networking socials and everything in between, our events and activities are designed to entertain, educate and, most of all, build friendships while bringing our members together in positive, enjoyable ways.

Grandparents Club
The CBI Grandparents Club was created to give grandparents a broad avenue to support the education of their grandchildren at both the NCECE and SLJ. Your annual donation will go to our Congregational Fund, supporting all areas of CBI, including our schools.
Generation Tech
This intergenerational program matches our techy teens with non-tech savvy members looking for help navigating our ever-changing digital world. Get help managing smart phones, emails, social media, streaming services and more with these one-on-one learning sessions.
