LIFECYCLE EVENTS Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Transitioning to Adulthood

The Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience marks the transition from childhood to responsible adulthood. Judaism, both in belief and deed, is guided by mitzvot, those lessons of the ages that give structure, meaning, and purpose to our lives. In our congregation, this important chapter in a child’s life brings the entire family together to celebrate a time honored tradition and create a memorable Jewish experience.

Our Facilities

We would be honored to host both your ceremony and celebration. Bar and Bat Mitzvah services can be held in either the Cohen/Friedkin Sanctuary or Hollander Family Chapel. Both are adorned with beautiful stained glass windows, an arc, bima and pulpit to create a truly traditional religious experience. Our sanctuary provides a magnificent setting, while the chapel allows for a more intimate ambience and can seat up to 150 people.

Many families choose to also host Shabbat dinners, Kiddush luncheons, and evening events to honor this momentous occasion with friends and family. Our facility offers an onsite caterer and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces that can be customized to make your simcha unique. Our outdoor courtyard and cocktail lounge are perfect for cocktail receptions and smaller gatherings, while our VIP ballroom is ideal for large scale parties.
