LIFECYCLE EVENTS Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Transitioning to Adulthood

The Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience marks the transition from childhood to responsible adulthood. Judaism, both in belief and deed, is guided by mitzvot, those lessons of the ages that give structure, meaning, and purpose to our lives. In our congregation, this important chapter in a child’s life brings the entire family together to celebrate a time honored tradition and create a memorable Jewish experience.

Adult B’nai Mitzvah Program

Take the next step on your journey of life-long learning!

We provide a course of study with our Clergy that culminates in a B’nai Mitzvah ceremony. This program is open to all congregants who want to mark becoming B’nai Mitzvah.

Dive into the Jewish customs and traditions, learn how to lead key prayers and read from the Torah, and familiarize yourself with Hebrew. Celebrate this milestone with your classmates, family and friends at your B’nai Mitzvah ceremony at the end of the program. For more information about the Adult B'nai Mitzvah program, please contact Joanna Horowitz. For more information please contact Joanna Horowitz.
