Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody have been together since their first date nearly 43 years ago, a giddy daylong escapade through Greenwich Village that began with brunch and ended with them making out on a street corner. Since then, Mandy has gone on to star on Broadway (“Evita,” “Sunday in the Park with George,” and more), in movies (“The Princess Bride,” “Yentl,” and more), on TV (“The Good Fight,” ”Chicago Hope,” “Criminal Minds,” “Dead Like Me,” and “Homeland”), and has performed in concerts around the world. Kathryn has starred on and off Broadway in shows such as “Scapino,” “Top Girls,” “Fishing,” “ The Marriage of Bette and Boo,” and more. In recent years, the couple has become a social media phenomenon where they debate, declaim, joke, snuggle, bicker, horse around, play with their dog and display their (lack of) knowledge about such topics at text-speak and the New York pizza rat.
