GET INVOLVED

BROTHERHOOD

The Brotherhood of CBI is a spirited group of men that seeks to participate in a meaningful activity within the synagogue and our community. We strive to build fellowship by bringing our members together in positive and enjoyable ways. Our activities are designed to entertain, educate, and, most of all, build friendships.

women of cbi

We are excited to announce "The Women of CBI," a programming committee working to serve the needs of all female-identifying members of CBI at every age and stage of life. This initiative will begin in the fall and will ensure a vast array of events, adventures, learning opportunities and community involvement activities to engage and connect all participants.

If you are interested in hosting a program or activity or for more information about The Women of CBI, please contact Rabbi Kahn or Linda Harris.

arza

The Association of Reform Zionists of America or ARZA is the single largest supporter of the Israel movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism (IMP) and the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC).

ARZA also provides educational materials about Israel and Zionism for Reform congregations, assists in bringing Reform Jews to Israel, and provides pre- and post-trip programming for congregations and individuals in order to enhance their Israel experience.

kantor family center for justice

Congregation B’nai Israel was built on a foundation of service to the community. CBI offers a variety of opportunities for our members to perform mitzvot throughout South Florida and beyond through our social action arm, the Kantor Family Center for Justice (KFCJ). Our focus is to help those in need, build interfaith ties with other religious groups, and provide more ways for you to fulfill not only these mitzvot, but the mitzvah of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world.

If you would like to volunteer or be notified of upcoming opportunities and initiatives, please email Minda Shaiman or Andrea Cannon.
