APRIL SOCIAL ACTION
This month’s Social Action focus is Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World) - all about recycling, reimagining, and creating beauty from waste. We’re inviting you to be part of our inspiring art and environmental initiative—Plastic Bottle Installation!
Led by NCECE Assistant Director Rebeca Rosenblatt, students and families will help bring this project to life by creating butterflies and spirals out of plastic bottles of all sizes. The final pieces will come together as a vibrant, collaborative art installation displayed on our campus, symbolizing transformation, community, and our commitment to Tikkun Olam.
HERE’S HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:
COLLECTION DRIVE
We’re collecting clean, empty plastic bottles and caps to be transformed into butterflies. Drop-off bins will be available on campus throughout the month.
AT-HOME PROJECT
Want to create your own Plastic Bottle Butterfly? This is a great opportunity to get creative as a family! Decorate your butterfly and bring it in to be part of our campus-wide butterfly art installation, celebrating renewal, transformation, and community.
Plus, we always need your help keeping our Little Free Pantries full with non-perishable grocery items!
